OpenSourceFestival in Gdanz / Poland. Second time for me to play there.
Sylvester and Katja are great friends. They create this festival in this little town, sharing with their audience a passion for new art media. I have beautiful time the festival is just at the border of the sea. Fresh Air !

SEISMIK > INTERSTICE
May 13th, I performed SEISMIK+AFTERSHOCK at Interstice festival. A very warm audience. A few days before, I got my technique steal suitcase, my audio interface, my controllers, geophone, antenna, everything. Fortunately my computers and my modular were in a second suitcase. Cancel my performance was thought, then with the festival team dynamics, we have traveled all over town to remanufacture and buy my accessories midi controllers. Phew !!!! Narrowly, I managed to present Aftershock and Seismik. My reward was this warm and enthusiastic audience.
The Geologic Imagination

I presented Seismik and Aftershock a the great Sonic Acts festival.
One of the best festival I was invited in term of contents and concept. These 2 pieces was dedicated to this festival. The thema for the whole events was The Geologic Imagination. Inspired by geosciences, The Geologic Imagination zooms in on planet Earth. Beside performances, screenings and installations, they presented conferences around this theme and specifically our Anthropocene period. very inspired for me. I found many links with my interests and works. I played on the 27th at the great MusiekgeBow, one of the best venue for acoustic.

+ AFTERSHOCK + DUST ] 

WITH THE PERCUSSION GROUP BLIN!MAN 
IN A OLD ELECTRICFABRIEK.
The venue was huge and fit totally with the spirit and aesthetic of these 3 pieces.
I had already performed Train Fragments with this percussion group in Brugge. They are very good and powerful. So, we started using the architecture resonance. Hit and Slam on the Steel metal structure and gradually move on the stage. All the audience in the dark with few lights on the structure of the factory. we played the first piece until the train derails _ just at the end of this movement, very synchronise with the score … Total black out. We crash the electricity of the factory. Incredible but true. Ironical !!!!! The building foreman was out for the week end. Impossible to reboot the system. But these first 15 minutes was so intense and the audience stay very hi when the power crash. So the tryptic was reduce to these 15 minutes. More pictures coming soon !
