INTIMATE PERFORMANCE
Hier soir, était la première soirée d’un série de 4 performances intimes à l’atelier de Cécile Côté ( 19.20.21.22 mai ). Après ma performance Orla Wren a magnifiquement poursuivi avec une musique sensible et remplie de subtilité. Une belle soirée dans un cadre inspirant et qui se poursuivra pour les 3 prochains soirs. En prime Olivier Girouard et Urban 9 étaient au presses afin d’imprimer des cartes postales pour le public. Quelques photos de la préparation et de la soirée. Merci à Cécile de nous permettre d’utiliser son espace.
Train track Squat
For the Ekumen, musique d’impressions. Olivier, Rasmus and Marie-Ève working to install illegally a contact microphone on the railroad track. This contact-mic was connected to a old McIntosh Amp+speaker during the next 4 days performances. Kind of audio Train Witness during the whole 4 night performances.
Geographic Words at Mois-Multi
hum ! I don’t have too much pictures during my performance and the the one from Zimoun. But I was a great program, very creative duet, and the audience was so curious and respecfull. Bravo to the Mois Multi Organisation. I will ask the festival to send me their pictures and I will add to this post later. But for now, there is some from the set-up.
Residencia_Train Station
This week I took field recordings in the Rennes Train Station These recordings will be the basic audiofiles for my performance Geographic Words Friday october 15th at the Train Station. In fact it will be 2 performances, one at 1am and the other at 2am.
The audience will be seat in the train station, around me, holding mini speakers in their hands. Christine, who work at the station, help me found some special place. Machina room, Roof, Stairs, Security.
Geographic Words
Today, I spent some time to built my Audio Controller for Geographic Words performance. It will be presented at Rennes, France _ next october _ in the train station. Festival Cultures Electroni[k] Du 6 au 17 octobre 2010. The idea is that each red dots on the map will trig different sentences. These sentences will be output on a multi channels audio system. People from the audience will take in their hands little speakers that will receive these sentences.
